I couldn't leave from TV. I was knowing the situation of the disaster but I think the TV news could show a small part of it.
In the evening, we went outside to return rental DVDs. There was usual life in Hiroshima. I felt a kind of strange feeling...

雪の朝。このとき、後で何が起きるかなんて、知る由も無い。
I felt earth quake shaking in the office at around 3pm. My first impression was that it was quite long shaking, but there was no impact for work and I continued my work. I heard there was a huge earth quake at northeast area in Japan, but I didn't know the truth at that time.
午後3時頃、オフィスで地震を感じた。かなり長い揺れだったけど、仕事に影響は無く、そのまま仕事を続けた。そのとき、東北の方でかなり大きな地震があったことを聞いただけで、本当のことは何も知らなかった。
I was surprised the impact when I watched the TV news at home. However, I was relieved what my wife's sister's family is not involved in the disaster. What I can do is to watch TV news...
家に帰ってニュースを見て、あまりの状況に驚いた。でも、仙台に住んでいる嫁さんのお姉さん家族が無事だと聞いて、正直ほっとした。ただ、自分にできるのは、ニュースを見ることだけだったけど。。。
MX-5, Roadster
I won a MX-5 (2nd generation) in the Yahoo auction. I worry about the condition slightly since I couldn't check it before my bidding, but I think it may be OK. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing it.
ヤフオクで、ロードスター (NBと呼ばれている2代目) を落札。
現車確認なしで買ったので、ちょっと心配もあるけど、たぶん大丈夫と思う。

I'm trying to get a additional car for my commuting. My target is MX-5 that is the one of my most favorite cars. It is fun to search and check a car in the Yahoo auction site.
